According to livestock researchers, animal agriculture uses 30% of all land, over 25% of all freshwater on earth, and creates as much greenhouse emissions as all of the world’s cars, trucks, trains, ships and airplanes combined. In other words, producing meat is taking an enormous toll on our planet. Thus, our vision with Jack Man is to:
- Create tasty, healthy, nutritious and high-quality, plant-based food while having a positive impact on sustainability and animal welfare without sacrificing taste or nutrition.
- Utilise plants that have a minimal carbon foot print.
- Support the small farming community of South India to reinforce faith and confidence in natural, organic food.
- Have the least negative impact on planet earth; maintain the natural, exotic, and highly nutritious values of the jackfruit, and the simplicity and humility of the Jack man.
